Coach Savage stayed late to help my son get confidence in himself . Everyone had left practice and I was talking to my son after a hard practice where he wanted to quit . He sat down with him and told him to stick it out . He said football is more than the game , itís teamwork and getting over hurdles in life . He also said that he would always be there for t even if he didnít play . Thank you for having so much dedication in others . RIP coach

We have many fond memories of Coach Savage from his time at Northview. He had a tremendous rapport with the players and a commitment to them that went beyond the playing field. We are grateful to Coach Savage for his dedication to Georgia high school football and the many lives he touched. We send our sincere condolences to Chantal, Ryan, Maia and Coach Don's family.
