    OBITUARY:
Sara Jeanene Parrott May 10, 1938-July 8, 2018 Jeanene Parrott celebrated her 80th birthday in May. She was married to her husband Ray for 48 years. She is survived by her son, Michael and step-daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Corey and Kyle; step grandchildren, Eric and Kaley; 6 great-grandchildren and her brother and sister; John Sutton and Janet Cagle and many nieces and nephews. Jeanene was hardworking, working until she was well into her 70ís. She was a voracious reader, loved reading books on health and nutrition and followed a healthy lifestyle and encouraged all of her family to do so as well. She loved her flower gardens and every year would spend many hours taking care of them and enjoying the beauty her hard work produced. Jeanene was a take charge woman, some might say a bit bossy, an organizer and a planner, always making lists and checking things off to ensure nothing was left to chance whether it was a holiday meal, a doctorís appointment or just a shopping trip. Jeanene loved her family greatly, she was a loving caregiver, providing care to her mother, her stepfather and her mother-in-law in their later years until they passed. She was fiercely private and independent, but when it came to her family she spared nothing to ensure their care. Any time anyone in her family was hospitalized, sick at home, she was always checking on them to see how she could help. She joyfully celebrated the family successes and mourned the losses. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 PM at Fischer Funeral Care followed by her Celebration of Life service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.

I like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. It was never Godís intent that death should rule over mankind. - Romans 5:12; 1Corinthians 15:26, 55; He will do away with it and He has provided hope-as stated at John 5:28, 29. During this most painful time please find comfort from the scriptures.

Iím Jeanene grandson and I wanted to say You will always be missed not a day goes by that I donít think about you nana. I would not be the man I am today if it wasnít for you. God blessed my brother and me with the most caring and selfless grandmother a kid could have. The best memories I have when my brother and me would stay at my grandparents and we play with big bear and hide in seek and my nana would cook the best spaghetti Iíve ever had and we would stay up late watching movies. We know your an angel now and looking down on us. I love you

My Mother was a beautiful person inside and out. She was the best mother a son could ask for. She was strict but she gave me room to grow. She would tell me that I had to fight my own fights. I would call my mother every day and talk to her for about 10 to 15 minutes and ask her how was her day. Most of the time she was watching David Muir on the nightly news or watching the series, The Rooseveltís. She probably watched that series at least every other week. My mother made the best chocolate chip cookies and me and Dad would fight over them! She loved the holidays, loved having the family over and preparing the best tasting food. Even when she was no longer able to make the preparations, she made sure the event was exactly as she would have prepared. My mother was an angel on earth, so Iím sure sheís a heavenly angel watching over those she loved! Mother thank you for everything you were the best thank you for being there for me thru the good times and bad times I will miss you so much but you made me strong so I think i will be ok I love you so much.
