Chuck and Fran were my neighbors at Wedgewood Chase and they were wonderful to me. A warm, kind and friendly couple. Ever since I returned to Atlanta I have tried to reconnect with them. I am so sorry that I was not able to meet Fran. Chuck and the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Asha

I so admired Fran for her gutsy courage, exemplified by moving her large family to Atlanta, on her own, in order to find a better life for you all. I found her to be full of energy, humor, and great common-sense wisdom. In recent months when I spoke with her on the phone, she had a sense of humor, a positive attitude, and gratitude for the good things in her life. She always expressed a genuine interest in me and what was going on in my life, which was rare for someone of her age and her condition. I was hoping to visit her this fall and am so sorry that I didn't get to see her one last time. I wish you all peace and good memories of your mom.

Sincere condolences on Fran's death. We knew each other well from our Senior University days and trips. She was so happy when she married Chuck. May the fond memories you have of her help you in this time of sorrow.

The world lost a remarkable woman and is a little dimmer today without her smile. I loved getting to know your mom and hearing her stories, especially of her kids. What a strong and amazing role model you had! She was one of the funniest people I've ever known. She made me laugh ALL THE TIME. I will miss her squeals, her quick wit, her no - nonsense attitude. What a blessing to have known such an amazing woman. I'll look forward to seeing you again, Fran! Many blessings and prayers for her family. Melissa George

Kathy, Val, Patrice, Eddie I am so sorry for your loss and that I can't be there for the funeral. But rest assured that I will be thinking of you. Fran came into my life when I most needed. She was my life saver without her I wouldn't be where I am today. She saved me from the streets, helped me get back on my feet, mentored me, and not just me, but my little boy at that time too. I am forever grateful for that. I will never be able to repay it. My guardian angel RIP.

Mom was much more than a mother and played many roles in her life. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mentor, singer, avid traveler, gardener, Stephen Minister. She molded our character with gentle love. Singing was her favorite pastime. She was involved in church choir, Sweet Adeline and Swinging Saints. Her quartet won 1st place in regional competition. Mom was my friend, travel buddy and fellow ice cream enthusiast. "A mother is not a person to lean on, but a person to make leaning unnecessary." --Unknown I will miss her dearly.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Deb and I fondly remember Fran and Chuck's visit to us in Moab, Ut. That must have been about ten years ago. We had a great time with them both, jeeping, rafting, visiting the National Parks, and showing them a huge petroglyph panel on the day they left. Its nice to have those memories at this time.

I lived with your Mom at Brookdale. I didn't know her well but we often had lunch together. She was a lovely woman with a quick wit and was really pleasant to be with. My deepest sympathy to the whole family.
