    OBITUARY:
Steven A. Westby, beloved son, husband, and father, died June 3, 2010, at age 55, one day before his thirty-third wedding anniversary with wife and high-school sweetheart Sue. Son of Patricia and Jerome Westby, he grew up in Janesville, WI, and graduated from Craig High School (1972), Vanderbilt University (1976), and Emory Law School (1980). He was a founding partner of Atlanta law firm Hamilton, Westby, Antonowich & Anderson and an adjunct professor at Emory Law School. Steve was passionate about baseball and honed his coaching skills over fifteen years at Murphy Candler Little League. At Chamblee Charter High School he served as fall baseball coach, Mock Trial coach, and Governance Council chairman. As a tribute to his years of support, the CCHS baseball field was named Steve Westby Field, and December 12 was declared Steve Westby Day in the city of Chamblee. Above all, Steve will be remembered for his joyful sense of humor. Steve is survived by his mother, his wife, his children--Lucas and Jessica Westby, Elizabeth and Ryan Florio, Ruth, and Paul-- and siblings Jerry Westby and Cheryl Victor of Thousand Oaks, CA; Susan and Richard Kramer of Farmington, CT; and Bob and Amanda Westby of Hitchin, England. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on June 8 at the Cathedral of Saint Philip in Buckhead. The family will receive visitors following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chamblee Dugout Club (3688 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee, GA 30341, attn Brian Ely) or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, pancan.org.
