    OBITUARY:
David B. Moeller, age 74, of Atlanta, died Sunday, May 9, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy Moeller. Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Nancy Moeller, Mark and Patsy Moeller, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Dwyer, and daughter and companion, Judi Moeller and Michael Simmons. Other members of his family include his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Marian Moeller, sister-in-law Rose Moeller and his late brother Roy Moeller. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dave was the son of the late Leo B. and Rosella Moeller. He was a founding member of All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, where he was active for many years in the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Moeller served in the US Army, and later relocated to Atlanta, where he became a friendly fixture in his community. Dave worked in sales for Standard Register Company for many years, prior to running his own business. His true vocation, though, was as a committed family man, loyal friend and devoted Catholic. Please sign the online guestbook at www.fischerfuneralcare.com . In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in Dave Moeller’s name to: The Knights of Columbus All Saints Council #11402, 2443 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338 or donate online at info@kofccharities.org. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 14 at All Saints Parish Hall, with rosary at 7:45. Fischer Funeral Care, Atlanta (678) 514-1000

    Lou Hlad - Grand KnightMay 17 2010 09:17 pm
I was unable to attend Dave's funeral because i and other officers were attending the 2010 KofC Georgia State Convention in Augusta. Please know that I would have been there and in his Honor Guard in grateful appreciation of his wonderful life. It was Dave who recruited me into the Knights when we both attended 9 AM Mass every morning. Any contributions I may have made in my two years as Grand Knight would not have taken place without him. He even recruited me into his acolytes. A State Award for that program is forever enshrined on our walls. He has changed my life and the lives of many other brothers. His devotion to BirthRight was an inspiration to us all. One does not forget a Dave Moeller and I will always include him in my prayers. I know that he is now finally in the peace that he deserves. Nancy, So sorry to hear of Dave's passing and we totally missed it. He was a great guy and liked him so much. We were keeping a baby for five days and never saw the paper or got a call from any of the ushers. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family. Sincerely, George and Shirley

Nancy, I will miss David a lot. He always said hello when he saw me at church, and at our Knights meetings. He was a very special man. Ralph Stinson
Bob and Bobbie BreitbeilMay 15 2010 07:59 am
We have known Dave and Nancy since 1972 when our son, Bob, was baptized at St. Judes and they looked us up since we had just moved into Fontainebleau and Nancy had worked in Cincinnati with Barbara Elsasser Breitbeil, our sister-in-law. What a coincidence! Our lives have intertwined since then, at church, in the neighborhood and in the gym as Mark was active in the basketball program, coaching and playing. We shared a mutual interest in sports and church activities through the Knights of Columbus although I am a member of Council 660. We will miss seeing him at church, at Mark's bonfire and social occasions. Our heartfelt sympathy and support goes to Nancy and the family.

Dear Nancy, Clyde and I were so sorry to hear of Dave's death. Just thinking of him brought a flood of memories of our years on Happy Hollow Rd. - Kelly and Karen's close friendship and the many good times Kelly had at your house. Please convey our sympathy to Steve, Mark, Karen, Judy, and their families. Love, Marilyn

    Rhonda Hill NolanMay 13 2010 09:23 pm
I remember Dave (I think my younger brother Ken started calling him Dave when he was about 13 so I think of him as Dave) always smiling, laughing at the antics of his kids and all the kids to flocked to be in the Moeller home at all hours of night and day. And I can see you Nance (yes, Ken coined that one too) warmly smiling and hugging us all and encouraging us with your wisdom and humor. it is sad to see such great teams part temporarily, but we know Dave and Nance will meet again. My love Rhonda I guess he is having laughs with Ken right now!

Dear Aunt Nancy & Family, I want to let you know what a wonderful and caring uncle Uncle Dave was. He was so kind and caring and interested in what was happening with his neices and nephews. I was honored that Aunt Nancy & Uncle Dave came all the way up to Steamboat for my wedding and am so glad that they visited last winter. We will always share his memory and love by continuing to keep in touch with all of you - we hope to see you in Steamboat again and maybe we'll make it to Atlanta one of these days. Love you - Mary Beth & Family

We will always remember him all those spring and fall evenings at Roswell Park as a devoted baseball fan of his three favorite players: Sam, Ted, and Emory. You have many good memories to take you through this difficult time.
