| Blake Leland | Oct 19 2009 12:07 pm | | It was a privilege to have been a colleague of Edith's in the English Department at Georgia Tech. In all my years of teaching I have never met anyone more dedicated to her students, and the more difficult the case the more fierce her dedication. How many hundreds of young men and women have been blessed to have known her! | | | Paula Stephan Amis and Bill Amis | Oct 19 2009 12:50 am | | We deeply regret that we are not able to attend the funeral today but we are out of the country for the fall. Edith Blicksilver was a wonderful role model for all women who wished to have a career. Jack Blicksilver was always such a generous and thoughtful colleague to the both of us and his memory has been served well by the kindness of Edith Blicksilver in establishing the Blicksilver scholarship at Georgia State. | | | Rev. Brother Christopher R. Klein | Oct 18 2009 05:06 pm | | Dear Paul,
Even though many years have passed, you and the steering committee of the Beth Hallel Singles Ministry will always hold a special place in my heart.
